Christmas tree cauliflower
No Christmas tree this year? No problem! This festively decorated cauliflower is all you need for those festive vibes🎄
Try this super simple recipe with seasonal ingredients. I used a Romanesco (green cauliflower) recipe but regular cauliflower would work equally well. Impress your guests with this festive dish without any effort!
Trim leaves off cauliflower (don’t throw them out - did you know you they are perfectly edible?). Drizzle cauliflower with olive oil, salt and garlic. Bake in oven on 180C for 60-80 minutes. While you wait for the cauliflower, prepare toppings. I used:
Pomegranate seeds
Toasted slivered almonds and chopped pistachios
Orange/mandarin zest
My low sugar tahini maple caramel (mix and heat 3 tbsp. of tahini with 0.5 tbsp. of molasses, 3 tbsp. of Lakanto monkfruit maple syrup or this allulose based maple syrup and a pinch of salt)
Pinch of sumac
